You are welcome to bring your own picnic, which you may enjoy at one of the many tables and benches located in the park’s various green oases.
Car park
The car park is located just outside the entrance to the park.
Parking is free.
Remember to be stamped by the personnel at the ticket booths if you need to leave the park to get something from your car.
Cash machine
Located at the Information desk.
The following cards are accepted: Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Eurocard, MasterCard.
Cloakroom
Rent space in the cloakroom for DKK 30 per day.
Credit cards
All Djurs Sommerland points of sale accept the following credit cards: Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Eurocard, MasterCard. However, the small mobile vendors accept cash only.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome on leashes – no dogs in the Water-land
Find each other again with ease
Free bracelets are handed out to all children at the Ticket booths and at the Information desk.
The Information desk is the meeting place for lost children.
First aid
First aid is administered at the Information desk.

Handcarts and pushchairs can be hired in the car park.

Libero Baby Care Centre
Heat your bottles or borrow a nappy for free if you have run out.
The Libero Baby Care Centre is located near the Information desk.
Changing tables are available at several locations throughout the park.
Lost and found
Lost and found items may be handed in and picked up at the Information desk.
Public barbecues
Due to the fire hazard, visitors are not permitted to bring their own barbecues.
Barbecues are available for use by visitors in the barbecue area nearest the Information desk. The barbecues are hot from 12 noon to 2 pm and as needed.
You can also have your dog looked after at the Borgmosegaard kennel, located approx. 10 minutes by car from Djurs Sommerland. The price per day is DKK 140 – read more at www.borgmosegaard.dk.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in restaurants and in some queue systems.
Safety in the park
At Djurs Sommerland, safety is a top priority. And we work hard to make sure our visitors feel safe in our park.
Before opening each season, the park and its attractions are approved by the police as well as by FORCE Technology, which is one of the nine companies in the GTS – Danish Advanced Technology Group network. All motorised rides are approved by FORCE Technology in compliance with the relevant regulations as stated in the circular on public attractions (Forlystelsescirkulæret).
During the season, our staff run through a series of safety procedures every morning to check that all rides function safely as prescribed. On the major rides, our staff check that every passenger is securely strapped in before each ride in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations.
In addition, Djurs Sommerland always has its own technical staff on duty who are well acquainted with all the park’s attractions and the major rides are always supervised by technical staff.
An emergency plan is in place, and there are four large, centralised emergency exits.
For safety reasons, there are height and age restrictions on some of the rides, and for operational reasons we reserve the right to shut down or vary the opening hours of our shops, activities and other facilities. In the event of thunder/lightning, attractions such as The Pirate, Thor’s Hammer, Wild West Carousel, Rio Grande Rafting, Colorado River, Karlo’s Taxi, Sablen and Water-land will be closed for safety reasons. Djurs Sommerland does not refund admission fees in such situations.
Tumble-dryers
Clothes dryers for visitors who have splashed about too much are available near the Information desk.
Water-land
Trained lifeguards are on duty at the Water-land.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs (limited availability) can be hired for the day at the handcart and pushchair rental area located in the car park. Price DKK 50 per day. Wheelchair reservations.
