All rides in Djurs Sommerland are open and most of them you can try, as you usually do. 

Face masks in the 5 big rides

Factory-made disposable face masks must be used in Piraten, Juvelen, DrageKongen, Skatteøen, and Tigeren.

It is a requirement from the Danish Health Authority that face masks are only used once and thrown out after the end of the ride.

From Saturday 18 July, only factory-made disposable face masks may be used in Piraten, Skatteøen, Juvelen, DrageKongen, and Tigeren, and it must be thrown out when the ride is over. Reusable face masks, including fabric face masks, dust masks, etc. must therefore no longer be used.

You are welcome to bring your own factory-made disposable face masks to the park, and it is possible to buy disposable face masks in the park for DKK 5 per. PCS.

The use of face masks in the 5 large rides means that the rides can operate with at full capacity and that the waiting time is now + 2-3 hours shorter than it would have been in the high season if the Danish Agency for Patient Safety had not changed the previously applicable guidelines for high-speed rides.

In all the other rides and the rest of the park, face masks are not necessary.

In some rides, there must be a distance of 1 or 2 meters, where several families/groups can try at a time, and in Vandland there is access for a max. number of guests in changing rooms and the individual pools.

A family/group is the ones you are going with and with whom you have daily contact, ie, families, friends/girlfriends, school classes, etc.

Vandland is open on June 20. - August 23.

Hygiene measures within Djurs Sommerland

We will do everything we can to minimize the risk of infection and at the same time give you a good day in Djurs Sommerland. At the entrance to the park, you will receive a leaflet with guidelines for a safe visit to the park.

There are signs around the park with recommendations from the health authorities as well as other precautions against the spread of infection in Djurs Sommerland.

Hand sanitizer is available and shall be used before and after a ride as well as in Vandland, restaurants, points of sales, shops, and toilets.

To keep social distance there are distance markers in queue systems at the rides and point of sales. In shops and restaurants etc., there is reduced capacity to allow social distancing.

In Vandland there are restrictions on how many guests there must be in the changing rooms and pools.

Get acquainted with the various signs in the park

There must be kept distance between guests and staff, and there must be no physical contact such as high fives.

Height measurements at the rides take place at a distance.

Guests must tighten safety belts and close the safety bar themselves to keep a safe distance from staff.

The staff uses protective equipment, such as gloves, visors, etc., where it is necessary, and uses special safety bar poles when checking that the guests are using the security system in accordance with the regulations.

Enhanced cleaning routines will take place throughout the day and surfaces such as safety belts, safety bars and handles are regularly disinfected

 

Help make a safe visit to the park

Make sure you follow the health authorities' restrictions and recommendations as well as the guidelines in Djurs Sommerland. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that the children comply with the guidelines. This also applies if the children are on their own or in the park's playgrounds, etc.

Don't visit Djurs Sommerland, if you or your close family have symptoms of COVID-19.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19

To minimize the waiting time at the entrance to Djurs Sommerland, we encourage, as far as possible, to buy 1-day tickets, 2-day tickets or Season Passes in Djurs Sommerlands webshop, Djurs Sommerland App or from Midttrafik and other partners

Children 0-2 years old have free entrance. 

It is also possible to buy tickets and Season Pass at the ticket booths at the entrance to the park

Keep social distance to other guest and staff. Make sure you follow the guidelines from our staff.

We request that all our guest uphold the highest possible hygiene standards. Remember to regularly wash your hands and use the hand sanitizer at entrance and exit at the rides, restaurants, shops, points of sales, Vandland, and toilets.

If in doubt, ask the staff.

Make sure you follow the distance markers and keep a social distance at the entrance to the park, in queue systems, at the shops, restaurants, point of sale and in Vandland.

To minimize the risk of infection and keep a social distance, you must if its possible tigthen you own seat belt or safety bar. Make sure children is accompanied and is helped with tightening seat belts and safety bars.

The staff uses protective equipment, such as gloves, visors, etc., where necessary, and uses safety bar poles when checking that the guests are using the security system in accordance with the regulations.

If the staff is in doubt about the height restrictions of the ride is kept, the staff will measure your height at a distance at the ride.

If the staff is in doubt whether you meet the height requirement for the ride, you must go to the Information in Djurs Sommerland's and get a height control before you can try the ride.

Where possible, pay with contactless payment: Credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay - avoid cash.

Children 0-2 years have free admission.

Senior tickets must be purchased in Djurs Sommerland, and identification must be presented.

We expect fewer guests in the 2020 season compared to previous seasons, and therefore plenty of space in the park throughout the season.

However, for safety and operational reasons, we reserve the right, without prior notice, to close access or ask guests to leave the park. We reserve the right to change opening hours for the park, rides, water parks, restaurants, points of sales, shops, shows, and other facilities without compensation.

For safety reasons, we also reserve the right to limit the number of guests in the park and Water Park, as well as operate with fewer guests at a time in the rides and limit a max. number into the restaurants, shops, etc. without compensation. It can e.g. be due to restrictions by the authorities due to COVID-19.

Access to Djurs Sommerland is on a first-come, first-served basis, and we recommend that you arrive early in the day.

Djurs Sommerland's area is 270,000 m2.

The authorities' guidelines, as a result of COVID-19, require an area of min. 4 m2 pr. guests in amusement parks.

We expect fewer guests in the 2020 season compared to previous seasons, and with the large area in the park, we do not expect it to be necessary to close the access to the park.
